Passport Through the Botanic Park is the Yampa River Botanic Park’s signature summer gala, where guests explore plant collections native to Colorado and similar environments worldwide while savoring global cuisine, fine wines, and captivating entertainment.
Passport Through the Botanic Park 2026: Gardens Around the World took guests to remarkable alpine gardens from around the globe, each offering a unique glimpse into how gardens adapt, inspire, and connect us through plants. The 2026 event netted $99,271 for the Park’s operations while the paddle raise raised $71,565 for the Park’s future expansion!
Call for Design
Entry Deadline: Monday, November 2, 2026
The Yampa River Botanic Park is seeking conceptual designs for our 2027 Passport Through the Botanic Park event artwork. Artists are invited to submit one concept inspired by the Park and the spirit of the Passport event. Submissions will be juried by representatives of Steamboat Creates, and the selected artist will be commissioned to produce the final artwork in the same style and medium as their concept.

The Yampa River Botanic Park opened its gates to the public in 1997, making next year its 30th anniversary! To honor this milestone, we invite you to join us for Passport Through the Botanic Park: Celebrating 30 Years on Saturday, July 24, 2027.
While we normally travel the world, the 2027 event will invite guests to travel back in time. This signature event will take you on a journey through the gardens, highlighting the Park’s history, plant collections, and the many individuals who have helped shape the space into the beloved community treasure it is today.
