Opera Steamboat

Please join Strings for two evening concerts to celebrate another summer of Music on

the Green, co-presented by the Yampa River Botanic Park.

For the first evening performance, Opera Steamboat will present a preview of

their world premiere production of Welcome to the Madness by composer

Leanna Kirchoff with a libretto by Rachel J. Peters.

Welcome to the Madness is a roaming vocal theater adventure

about Charlotte Perry, Portia Mansfield, and the founding of the Perry-Mansfield

Performing Arts School & Camp in Steamboat. This immersive production was

commissioned by Opera Steamboat.
