2nd Annual Fall Bulb & Peony Benefit

The Yampa River Botanic Park is hosting its 2nd Annual Bulb & Peony Benefit October 4 – 5 on the Trillium House patio.  The Benefit will feature a hand-picked selection of unique and remarkable bulbs that thrive in the Yampa River Valley and were chosen for their form, color, fragrance, and hardiness.  Varieties of daffodils, tulips, Allium, Fritillaria, fall blooming Crocus (Colchicum), peonies, garlic, and more promises to knock your socks off.  Also available will be bulbs for forcing including paperwhites, hyacinths, and Amaryllis.   A special collection will be featured for Bees & Butterflies – 50 yellow flowering bulbs providing 6 months of pollinator nutrition.

Routt County Master Gardeners and Botanic Park staff will be on hand to answer questions and offer suggestions for successful planting.  Also keep an eye on our calendar of events for upcoming garden demonstrations in September on bulb planting, growing garlic, and more!  

Members Only Hours are October 4 from 10 am – 2 pm. The public is welcome to shop October 4 from 2 – 6 pm and October 5 from 10 am to 2 pm. Mark your calendars because the benefit sold out last year!
