June 4, 2022 @ 11:00 am 2:00 pm

Gardening season is just around the corner in Steamboat Springs and the YRBP will be ready with its 1st annual Spring Plant Benefit. Featuring perennials appropriate for mountain regions including pollinator-friendly plants, natives, specialty alpines, and other garden favorites, the Benefit is Friday, June 3 from 10 am to 2 pm for Members Only, 2 to 4 pm for Members and the public, and Saturday, June 4 from 11 to 2 pm for everyone. The Spring Plant Benefit will be located on the Green inside the Park.

Park staff and Routt County Master Gardeners will be on-hand to help you make the best selections for your space. Also, Yampa Valley Sustainability Council will be available for questions and information regarding how to incorporate climate-appropriate planting into your garden and landscape to lessen water demands at your home.

We are excited to have trough gardener and artist Domenique Turnbull join the Benefit. Domenique will demonstrate how to plant up his supertufa troughs and will also have troughs available for purchase. Join in on this fun Friday, June 3 at 3 pm and Saturday, June 4 at 11 am.

Please bring your own wagons and boxes to transport your purchases to your car. Credit cards and checks only. No Cash.

The Spring Benefit will take place – rain or shine.
Supplies will be limited. Plants WILL sell out quickly so plan ahead. IF you are not a member of the Park and want to shop before the benefit opens to the public, click here and become a member today!
