Currently, the Yampa Valley is under Stage 2 water restrictions, and we are all working to be mindful of water use. New plants require regular watering to become established. With that in mind, we will not be selling new plants at this year’s Spring Plant Sale. Instead, we will offer transplants dug from throughout the Park, including potentilla, lavender, iris, daylilies, and more. These established, proven plants from the Botanic Park will acclimate quickly in your home garden and require less water than newly planted varieties.
The Spring Plant Sale takes place on the Green inside the Park. Botanic Park Gardeners and Routt County Master Gardeners will be on-site to answer questions and help you make the best selections for your garden. Inventory will be limited, and plants will sell out. If you are not a member of the Park and want to shop before the benefit opens to the public, become a member today, https://www.yampariverbotanicpark.org/become-a-member.
Please bring your own wagons and boxes to transport your purchases to your car. Stay tuned for the list of available plants and please note, some plants may not be available the day of the sale.
