Join us every Wednesday morning this summer for Strings Music Festival’s weekly free concert series, co-presented by the Yampa River Botanic Park. With concerts lasting just 45 minutes, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer morning.
Kick off the summer with the Pre-Professional Theatre students of Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp as they present excerpts from their upcoming musical Wonderland at the Julie Harris Theatre. Featuring music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Jack Murphy, and a book by Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy, the production offers a contemporary retelling of Lewis Carroll’s classic story, Alice in Wonderland.
Wonderland follows a grown-up Alice as she navigates the challenges of New York City, motherhood, and rediscovering herself. Filled with a dazzling score and a heartfelt story of courage and new beginnings, the musical brings a fresh perspective to a beloved tale.
