Take a moment to pause with this unique way to experience the serenity of the Park with Andrea Abrahamson, Certified Instinctive Meditation® teacher.
A message from your teacher:
“Welcome to meditation in the Park! This diverse garden allows for a lovely counterbalance to the hectic world we all live in. Join us to experience meditating in a group in the garden where we gather on the Green to relax, unwind, and listen to the world around us. In this vibrant and nurturing space, you will discover that meditating in community strengthens your own meditation practice.
This summer we are focusing on building community. Gathering together on the Green in the park is a perfect place to expand your own community and strengthen the bonds with the greater world around you. Each time we meet we will venture into a different exploration of community: whether it is with your family, neighbors, co-workers, pets or whatever else you call community. Discover how meditating in this space nurtures your own self so that you may enter back into the hectic life around you with a bit more ease.
If you are new to meditation, don’t worry! I will guide everyone through a meditation. I am a certified meditation teacher and have many years under my belt leading people through centering, calming and delightful practices.
To make yourself comfortable while we are together, bring something to sit on, a towel, blanket, or mat. Some people enjoy stretching out on the lawn as well as journaling or drawing after practice. Suggested donation of $5 is appreciated.”
