Yampa River Botanic Park is proud to partner with Strings once again to offer this free outdoor concert series. Music lovers of all ages are invited! With concerts lasting just 45 minutes, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer morning.
Kick off the summer with this week’s featured artist, Tyree Woods, is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and founder of Buffalo Commons, a soul-grass band based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Originally from Muskegon Heights, Michigan, Tyree moved to Colorado through his service in the US Army, where he served two combat tours before being medically retired in 2012. Music became his path to healing.
Now rooted in the Yampa Valley, Tyree channels his life experiences into powerful, heartfelt songs that inspire unity, resilience, and hope. Known for his infectious energy and soul-deep storytelling, he uses music to connect and uplift. Tyree is currently pursuing a degree in songwriting and production at Berklee College of Music, continuing to grow as an artist and share his message of love, inclusion, and transformation.
