Yampa River Botanic Park is proud to partner with Strings once again to offer this free outdoor concert series. Music lovers of all ages are invited! With concerts lasting just 45 minutes, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer morning.
This week’s featured artist, Patrick Waters, hails from Iowa City, IA. As a solo performer, Patrick’s expansive repertoire appeals to diverse musical tastes. It spans iconic acoustic melodies from the ’60s and ’70s by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd to engaging multi-instrumental interpretations of contemporary favorites by Sublime, Ben Harper, and Beck.
As co-owner of the local live music venue Schmiggity’s since 2014, Pat has been instrumental in contributing to the live music scene in Steamboat. Pat currently plays in 7 local Steamboat Bands, including: Wish You Were Pink, Heads All Empty, Constant Change, Bella Band, Chamberlin Birch, Speak of the Devil and The Worried Men.
